To all my fellow business colleagues and friends. I am writing this blog to inform you all about something that is extremely important to me. As some of you know, I started a non-profit organization last year. I would like to tell you why I started it and what we do!
I was just a boy when I lost my father to a drug overdose, I was a year and a half to be exact. Years later, when I was 9 years old, my aunt and uncle began to raise me, and changed my life forever. Their love and support helped save a little boy from a hard road in life, to one of hope. In all honesty, looking back at it, I was supposed to be nothing. I was supposed to be caught up in the difficulties of drugs, anger, and hate. But my parents (aunt and uncle) gave me an opportunity to be rescued from that life. Most little boys and girls, unfortunately, don’t have an aunt and uncle or grandparent in their life to change their life. I was a fortunate one.
Later on in life, when I was in college, I received the most devastating news of my life. I lost my mom, at 19 years old, to another drug overdose. I was crushed. There was nothing in my life that I wanted to do more, than to love my mom and help change her life. When I got this news, I said to myself with tears overwhelming my face, and sadness overtaking my emotions, “God, please don’t let this be true, and if it is, use my story to change the world.” The news was true, and I saw my mother, lifeless. Truthfully the worst day in my life.
Later that year I would be introduced to the girl in my life that I would someday marry. Emily. As I was in college and now wanting to marry this girl, I decided to become a freak. I started to work 80 hours a week, while being a full time college student and a fiancee, in order to make sure that my young wife would have as great of a wedding as possible.
Soon I graduated college, somehow with Cum Laude and a deans list student in every semester. In March 2014, a couple months before the big wedding day, something crazy happened. My nieces needed our help. They now needed a place of love and hope, much like myself when I was a little boy. My wife and I were about to be married. My wife was 19. We couldn’t do this! Crazy enough, we did. We knew that this was more important and bigger than anything else we could have done. At 22 and 19 years old we became parents of 2. Finally in June 2014 we got married. Our life was just beginning.
About a year later, in March 2015, it happened again. We became foster care parents of my nieces again, after they had been replaced to their home. This time, we got a third baby with us, 4 month old, little Jojo. Just like that, we had 3 kids. To this day, this is what our family looks like.
Then in June 2016, my wife, partners, and friends decided to start living out our calling and purpose in life. That is when Make-A-Change Inc. was formed. This organization was started to help children in harsh circumstances, who don’t have the aunt and uncle or grandparents in their life to give them the love and hope they need. At Make-A-Change Inc. we started a mission that would impact kids suffering due to neglect and abuse, by providing meaningful memories and education, to guide them on the right path and life and change their life forever.
Since then, I have been on a mission. I have become completely obsessed with my purpose in life to make a change in these kids lives. My mission is to help thousands of children across the world. I know that my obsession with my purpose will naturally bring the success I need in life to fulfill my purpose in life.
The reason I am telling you all my story, is because I truly, deep down, want each and everyone of you to join me in this mission of changing kids lives! From being apart of change the kids lives, to building orphanages, or sponsoring our organization, we are looking for a team of world changers to help make this mission possible!

To Whom it May Concern,
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the help of those who support us to be able to “make a change”. We are a 501c3 tax exempt non-profit organization, which means all support is tax deductible. Our mission is to help children suffering from hardship due to abuse, neglect, parental drug addiction, etc. We impact these children by providing meaningful memories, basic necessities, and education to help guide them in a good direction in life. If we can change one child’s life, we could change an entire community. So why not change as many children’s lives as possible and change the world!?
In 2017 we are hosting our second annual Make-A-Change Gala! It is going to be the event of the year! The event includes dinner, silent auction, award presentations, year review, keynote speaking and more! We are now reaching out for event sponsorships. We have 4 levels of sponsorships which will publicize your company at our Gala and throughout the year as we promote the event. The earlier you commit to sponsoring, the more advertisement you receive. The same applies with your level of sponsorship.
We are also asking for donations to auction off at the event to help raise funds for our organization.
